Cannabis Selling Stopped by Florida Health Department

Florida’s Health Regulatory Body ordered a Quincy- based to stop selling a medical cannabis product that could possibly be broken down and made into bud that can be smoked.

Trulieve started selling its first whole-blossom cannabis merchandise meant last week at five retail dispensaries and through home delivery. The buds in the Entourage Multi Indica vaporizer cup, nevertheless, could be used in pipes, joints or bongs.

The Department of Health authorized sealed vaporizer cups including cannabis to be sold by Trulieve.  However, it was seen that the mesh caps can be removed with minimal effort and cannot be reattached.  Smoking is prohibited, although vaping is allowed under state law. TRULIEVE CEO Kim Rivers said the firm had issued warnings to patients that the product should only be used for vaping.
